Christian Vietoris to make GP2 debut at Jerez
Gravity driver Christian Vietoris, currently 2nd in the F3 Euro Series standings, will be moving up a notch next week when he runs in the GP2 test scheduled at Jerez. The young German will start off his testing with the Barwa Addax team on Tuesday before moving over to DAMS the following day.
“This is great opportunity and I hope to make the most of it,” said Vietoris. “Both GP2 and Jerez are very demanding propositions and I’ll be looking to prove my worth on this occasion. I would have enjoyed driving all three days scheduled for the test but our Dijon F3 Euro Series round begins on Thursday, so I won’t be there on the last day. Jules Bianchi has a strong lead in the championship standings and as long as I’m in the running, I’ll give it my best.”
